What is a IGS file?
.igs is the short extension for an IGES file. The content is identical to .iges: curves and surfaces from a CAD system, without the solid topology that STEP provides.

3MF is the modern replacement for STL, published by the 3MF Consortium (Microsoft, Autodesk, HP, Prusa and others).
